Weddings
Hatfield House, Park and Gardens is the perfect setting for your special day. You will be choosing a magnificent Grade I listed venue and we will offer you all the help and support you need to ensure a memorable occasion. The Hatfield House Hospitality team is highly experienced in the fine art of hospitality and will be available to help you plan the perfect day.
Civil Marriage Ceremonies Hatfield Park is licensed for civil ceremonies to be held in the Old Palace Banqueting Hall and in the Riding School.
If you wish for the Marriage Ceremony to take place here, the Hatfield Registrar may be contacted on 01707 283920 to make the necessary arrangements.
Wedding Receptions We can accommodate up to 300 for a Cocktail Party, 280 for a seated luncheon or dinner, or 200 for dinner with dancing. The rooms are flexible and can be arranged for a smaller number to feel comfortable. We pride ourselves on offering a high standard of catering and a variety of menus to cater for a range of tastes. We use the best fresh local produce wherever possible, and offer a selection of good quality wines at competitive prices. Should you wish to provide your own wines, we would be happy to quote a price for corkage.

You may have photographs taken in the beautiful and historical setting of the Palace Green for either of our two venues. Evening Party Wedding receptions may continue into the evening. A dance floor can be provided and an evening buffet can be served. Approved suppliers We work with a selection of approved suppliers who will add all the finishing touches to your special day including theming, cakes, flowers, photography and music. When choosing Hatfield Park for your wedding, whether for the Ceremony and Reception, or just the Reception, we can guarantee you a wonderful day.
