Events are held in Hatfield Park throughout the year.

 

During the visitor season (Easter Saturday to the end of September) they are mainly staged outside, either on the North Front of the house or, increasingly, on the Queen Elizabeth Oak Field. Admission charges to the major events include entry to the garden and are collected at the main entrance kiosks. For conservation reasons and to limit numbers a separate charge is added for house entry.

 

Please note that during Major events (Living Crafts/Rose Weekend/Country Show/Art in Clay) Park only and Park & West Garden tickets are not available.

  

During the winter months the Old Palace and the Riding School are the normal event venues where admission to the park is usually free and charges are collected on the door. The Coach House restaurant and the gift shop are normally open in support of these out-of-season events.

 

Please note that Campus West are acting as ticket agents for online ticket bookings and you will be redirected to their secure booking service. The box office at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City are also able to sell Hatfield House tickets to personal callers.
