Estate Day with Countryside Learning - Hatfield House
Share This

Estate Day with Countryside Learning

This June we will once again be working with the charity Countryside Learning to deliver an Estate Day to a number of local schools.

The Estate Day will provide an opportunity for these local schools to explore the Hatfield House Estate and to learn about what is involved in its management. The day also allows our school visitors to meet the people behind the scenes, who work here each day. The day aims to re-introduce children to rural practices and an opportunity to witness farming, forestry and estate management at first hand. The Estate Day will incorporate many themes of core importance in the National Curriculum, particularly Geography, History, ESD, Science & Citizenship.
