Maintaining the Flower Beds at Hatfield Railway Station - Hatfield House

Maintaining the Flower Beds at Hatfield Railway Station

For the past three years the gardening team at Hatfield House, with the support of Lady Salisbury have proudly maintained the flower beds at Hatfield Railway Station. Planting choices reflect existing specimens within the gardens of Hatfield House and include Agapanthus, Bergenia ‘Magic Giant’, Rosa ‘Mutabilis’ and Sarcoccocca confusa, to name a few.

The team at Hatfield House hope to work more closely with the local residents of Hatfield to maintain these beds in the future. Our Head Gardener has expressed that it is an excellent opportunity for local residents to get together and learn more about gardening, whilst working together on a project which can be enjoyed by the wider community.
