21 August @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Imagination runs wild and logic is abandoned in this fantastical, larger-than-life musical brimming with nonsensical fun and excitement for the entire family.
Follow Alice and the White Rabbit as they set off on a colourful, topsy-turvy adventure like no other. Join them in meeting a host of outlandish characters including the troublesome twins, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the notorious Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire cat and of course, the Mad-as a bat-Hatter!
Immersion Theatre proudly bring their trademark energy to their most spectacularly bonkers show to date, as children and adults alike are invited to join in the hilarity of seeing this classic story brought vividly to life before having the opportunity to meet the characters after the show…why not come dressed up as your favourite? A perfect day out for the entire family, you’d be mad to miss it!

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

Alice in Wonderland will start at 2pm and will be performed in the open air as part of the outdoor theatre productions held here.

Attendees can enter the event site at 1pm in order to pick their viewing spot, there is no reserved seating.

Advanced ticket holders will be able to enter the Park in their vehicles via Station Lodge (AL9 5AE) from 1pm on 21st August in order to park closer to the event site. Station Lodge usually acts as just a pedestrian entrance for the Estate, but for this performance it will be accepting vehicles. This event parking will be on grass.

Anyone with advanced tickets wishing to spend the day here and therefore arriving before 1pm will be directed to park in our normal visitor car park (AL9 5HX). You will then need to walk to the event site which is approximately a 15 minute walk. Alternatively vehicles can drive round entering via Station Lodge after 1pm to park closer to the event site.

Drop off and Disabled Parking is available closer to the site, however, there is still a very short walk over the grass from here.

All parking is free of charge. Please click here to view details on how to find us

THE EVENT SITE (THE ELEPHANT DELL)

The event site is located in a naturally shaped grass bowl in the grounds of Hatfield House known as the Elephant Dell. This location is about a 2 or 3 minute walk across grass, from the event car park which will be accessed through Station Lodge on the day.

The nearest toilets are located in Stable Yard which is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Elephant Dell.  Please click here to view our Estate & Facilities map

WEATHER

The performance will go ahead come rain or shine, be prepared for the British summer, whether that means hats and sun cream or umbrellas and raincoats!

DOGS

Unfortunately with the exception of assistance dogs, dogs will not be permitted into the event site.
