Since its foundation, the National Gardens Scheme has donated over £45 million to nominated beneficiaries, of which nearly £23 million has been donated within the last ten years. Once again we will be supporting the NGS by opening on Saturday 24th March ahead of the official 2018 visitor season.

Visitors can enjoy the spring bulbs in the lime walk, sundial garden and view the famous Old Palace garden, childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I. The adjoining woodland garden is at it’s best in spring with masses of naturalised daffodils and bluebells.

Beautifully designed gifts, jewellery, toys and much more can be found in the Stable Yard shops. Visitors can also enjoy relaxing at the Coach House Restaurant which serves a variety of delicious food throughout the day.
