The Hatfield Banquet offers a sumptuous four course dinner and excellent entertainment, set within wonderful surroundings. Whether you attend with a large party, a small group or as a couple, we can assure you of a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and a unique dining experience.

 

An exceptional setting The Hatfield Banquet takes place in the magnificent 15th Century Great Hall of the Old Palace of Hatfield House, a wonderful Grade 1 listed building previously home to Elizabeth 1. On your arrival, we will show you to your reserved places, where you'll be seated at long banqueting tables in the elegant grandeur of the Great Hall. Why not come to the Banquet in costume? An exquisite Dinner You will be served a delicious dinner, which makes the most use of fresh local produce and the finest ingredients. The menu showcases traditional English fare with a contemporary twist. A half bottle of red or white wine is provided per person.

Entertainment to suit the occasion During the evening, entertainers from Old English Entertainprises will treat you to authentic Elizabethan period music, song and theatre. King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I, together with their Courtiers, will amuse and entertain you. After dinner, the party will continue - dance the evening away to our resident discotheque.

 

 

Book now for an evening to remember You can enjoy the Hatfield Banquet on most Friday evenings and other selected evenings throughout the year. The banquet starts at 7.45pm but you will be very welcome to arrive from 7pm. You may wish to buy an aperitif from the bar and, on a cold winter's night, warm yourself in front of the log fire. The banquet and period entertainment finishes at 10pm but the party will continue until 11.30pm. Tickets cost from £50 per person ( prices are subject to change without prior notification).
