Hospitality
In the past, royalty have held the grandest celebrations at Hatfield House and we carry on the tradition today, hosting private and corporate functions in our beautiful venues.
We can accommodate up to 300 for conferences or cocktail parties, 250 for a seated luncheon or dinner and 200 for a dinner dance. All rooms are flexible and can be arranged to ensure a smaller number of guests feel completely comfortable.
Corporate Experience
Whether you are planning a company away day, a product launch, a conference, or indeed any corporate function, Hatfield House is the perfect venue for enterprising businesses. The Riding School offers a contemporary interior, complete with the very latest facilities, while the Old Palace provides a magnificent and atmospheric venue for larger events.
Private and Corporate Dining and Parties
The Old Palace is the ideal venue for large receptions, dinners, balls, award ceremonies or any special occasion where you want to create a memorable evening. Alternatively, the Riding School is perfect for smaller events, themed nights or for a more contemporary night.
Both venues may be hired for private events, enabling you to choose the atmosphere that best matches your requirements for your birthday, anniversary, engagement party, Barmitzvahs or any special occasion you wish to celebrate.
The Hatfield Banquet
The Hatfield Banquet runs as a public event on selected Fridays every month. It may also be booked as an exclusive private or corporate event, enabling your guests to enjoy the sole use of the Old Palace. This is a perfect idea for an unusual and memorable night for your guests, who might attend the banquet in period costumes.
A Christmas Banquet is also available on selected dates throughout December.
Exclusive Hospitality
The exceptional Jacobean interior of Hatfield House, the private home of the Marquess of Salisbury, provides the perfect setting for more exclusive functions. By kind permission of Lord and Lady Salisbury, each year we offer the Marble Hall and Armoury for a limited number of exclusive client hospitality and private dining occasions.

Whether you are looking for a small intimate wedding or a large celebration, we can accommodate your wishes to create your perfect special day. The hospitality team will support you throughout the planning and on the day of your wedding to make it easy for you and ensure everything is as you want it to be.
