The Old Palace
This venue is one of the foremost examples of medieval brickwork in the country and still retains most of its original roof timbers. It was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I, who held her first Council of State in the Banqueting Hall in 1558.
The Old Palace is therefore charged with history and provides an impressive and unique atmosphere for a special reception, dinner or dinner dance. You can be assured that your guests will have a wonderful time and the event will become all the more memorable.
We can accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail party, 250 for a lunch or dinner and 200 for a dinner dance.
The Riding School
This venue is perfect for dinners for up to 120 guests or parties for up to 180. Drinks may be served on the mezzanine area before dinner and a bar is available in the venue throughout your event.
If you are planning on a themed party, the Riding School is ideal as it offers many possibilities for decoration and special arrangements.
Catering
Catering for receptions and dinners is provided on-site by Leith’s, offering a high standard of fine dining and excellent service throughout your event.
