Opening Times & Prices

Hatfield Park has so much to offer for visitors of all ages and differing interests. Apart from Hatfield House itself, which has a fascinating history and makes for a fantastic journey through four centuries of dynamic change; you can enjoy the manicured garden, extensive park, 9 unique shops, a busy restaurant, a new traditional breeds farm and children’s adventure playground featuring a model of Hatfield House as a centerpiece and a sculpture exhibition.

The 2012 Visitor Season begins on Saturday 7 April until 30 September 2012.

PLEASE NOTE: Hatfield House will be closed for a private function on THURSDAY 14 JUNE 2012. The Park and Garden will remain open.

The Restaurant and Stable Yard retail area will re-open on 5 February 2012.
Hatfield Park Farm and Bloody Hollow Adventure Play Area re-open on 17 March.

The visitor facilities at Hatfield House can from time to time be disrupted due to maintenance, filming or preparations for major events. Please refer to the events page for details of current scheduled events. Whilst every effort to minimise disruption will be made, we reserve the right to close, re-schedule or withdraw the visitor facilities without notice. The Old Palace is often closed for private functions.

The Hatfield House Gift Shop, independent shops and restaurant in Stable Yard are open on Tuesday to Sunday but closed on Mondays (except BH Mondays).

Please note that dogs and picnics are not permitted in the Gardens. Dogs are also not permitted in the Farm area.

During major events no Park only tickets will be available to purchase.

House entry supplement for those with Park tickets is £7 and £4 for children. This additional charge to visit the House is also applicable during some major events.

Access to Bloody Hollow Play Area is included in any ticket purchased on the day. Local valid passholders can purchase tickets for Hatfield Park Farm at a 50% discount and will be admitted to Bloody Hollow free of charge.

PLEASE NOTE: HHA (Historic Houses Association), Great British Heritage, RHS cards are NOT valid.
