River Cottage Kitchen & Deli

If you’re looking for somewhere to dine, whether you fancy a relaxing cream tea, a light bite or a delicious meal there is something for everyone at Hatfield House.

The new River Cottage Kitchen & Deli at Hatfield House has opened in partnership with food writer and campaigner, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, and his River Cottage team. Using the best quality, seasonal and sustainably-sourced ingredients, River Cottage will be bringing a taste of their hands-on ethical food ethos to visitors to Hatfield House.

From a light bite to a three-course seasonal meal; there is something for everyone at the new River Cottage Kitchen & Deli.

The River Cottage Kitchen and Deli will be open Tuesday -Sunday 10am-5pm. It will also be open on Bank Holiday Mondays throughout the summer.

Hot food will be available from 11:30am-2:30pm each day.

During the Hatfield House Chamber Music Festival, 20th-23rd September, the restaurant will remain open until 8pm each evening.

You can also pop in to the new River Cottage Deli situated next door to the new restaurant. This sells light take-away snacks, alongside wholesome salads. the Deli also runs a regular children’s offer where you can choose from 4 items for £5 including a sandwich, a packet of crisps, a bakery item, and a piece of fruit.
