Opening Times for the 2018 Visitor Season

Hatfield House, Park & Gardens

The House, Park & Gardens will reopen on Saturday 31st March for the 2018 visitor season and will remain open until Sunday 30th September.

Hatfield House will then open each Wednesday to Sunday from 11am-5pm (last entry at 4pm).

The West Garden & Park are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am-5:30pm.

The House, Park and Gardens are also open each Bank Holiday Monday during the season.

The Old Palace

The Old Palace is open for tours whenever possible, the following dates have been confirmed for September: 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 28th and October: 3rd, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 28th, 30th, 31st.

Hatfield Park Farm

Opening times & prices – Hatfield Park Farm is open Tuesday -Sunday from 10am-5pm (last entry at 4pm). Hatfield Park Farm is also open on Bank Holiday Mondays and Mondays in the Hertfordshire school holidays.

Stable Yard Shops

The Stable Yard is open Tuesday – Sunday from 10am-5:30pm. It is advisable to check individual shop opening times before travelling to the Stable Yard as opening times do vary.

The River Cottage Kitchen & Deli

Open each Tuesday to Sunday from 10am-5pm

Further details:

A child ticket for the House is classed as 5-15 years, under 5’s are free. A family ticket consists of 2 adults and up to 4 children.

*Group rate is available to groups booking in advance. Guided House tours must be booked in advance. Payment for groups and guided house tours to be paid two weeks prior to visit. Call 01707 287052 or email – e.waddup@gascoyneholdings.co.uk for further information or to make a booking.

HHA (Historic Houses Association), Great British Heritage, RHS, National Trust or English Heritage cards are NOT valid for entry. Dogs and picnics are not permitted in the Gardens or on the Farm, with the exception of assistance dogs. Dogs are allowed into the Park. The visitor facilities at Hatfield House can from time to time be disrupted due to maintenance, filming or preparations for major events. Please refer to the events page for details of current scheduled events. Whilst every effort to minimise disruption will be made, we reserve the right to close, re-schedule or withdraw the visitor facilities without notice. The Old Palace viewing bay is often closed for private functions. Flash photography and video recording is not permitted in the House. All commercial photography and recording requires permission.
