Our 2023 Christmas experience will take you through a journey of 9 beautifully crafted installations and displays, exclusively created by CLW Event Design, a collective of theatrical practitioners, designers and artists.

Your Christmas Journey

Collect your invite from the beautifully decorated Stable Yard, then make your way through Palace Green and festive trees to the Secret Door where your journey begins.

Wander through the Garden and Lime Walk, admiring the installations here as you head towards the House itself and your exclusive access to The Victorian Kitchen, where an amazing festive setting awaits you.

You will exit the Kitchen onto the North Front of the House where more stunning installations are to be seen, providing wonderful photo opportunities, and ending with the finale of an immense, 12ft statue of Queen Elizabeth herself, based upon our famous Rainbow portrait.

Finish your experience at the Stable Yard where food, drink and festivities await.

Delightful discovery
Tickets include a guided tour of the Old Palace, wintry woodland walks during daylight hours, and professional actors bringing the experience to life.
This is an educational experience with a fun, interactive activity for our younger guests.

The experience is suitable for all ages and finishes at our Stable Yard, where you can find our independent shops and pop-ups. There will be an educational guide provided to explain the meaning behind each beautiful installation, with a fun, interactive version for children.
