Conservation and traditional building courses

We are delighted to co-hosting a number of conservation and traditional building courses with Place Services and Essex County Council. We have long since recognised that historic environments require a special understanding and sensitivity. We see these courses as an essential part of training which is required to pass on this understanding and to assist in conserving historic buildings and estates for future generations.

Last week a group of students attended a three day course, where they were taught how to complete traditional timber repairs on a seventeenth century barn on the Hatfield Estate.
