Welcome to our 6 Weeks of Summer programme!

We are delighted to invite you to our 6 Weeks of Summer programme, running from Wednesday 24th July to Sunday 1st September. Each week presents a variety of themed activities designed to entertain and inspire participants of all ages. These include a mix of free activities plus events with supplementary charges. Don’t miss out on this summer packed full of fun experiences —there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Here’s what you can look forward to:

Week 1: Meet the Makers Week

Kick start your summer by exploring the craftsmanship and creativity of local artisans. Take part in hands-on workshops, learn about bees, and meet the people behind the amazing creations.

Week 2: Stage & Screen Week

Lights, camera, action! Dive into the world of theatre and film with exciting performances from Living Theatre and Immersion Theatre, cinema screening in the Motor House, and a teddy bear picnic adventure.

Embark on a teddy bear making workshop courtesy of Splodgers, then take your creation, ‘down into the woods today’ with a story telling and bring-a-picnic session in the beautiful surroundings of Hatfield Park

Week 3: Transport Week

From vintage vehicles to modern marvels, discover the history and future of how we get around. Take part in a glider workshop, visit an exhibition in the Motor House, and pick out your favourite Aston Martin or Ferrari in the car show.

Week 4: History Week

Step back in time and uncover the stories of the past. Enjoy guided tours of the Old Palace and Hatfield House, and historical re-enactments that bring history back to life.
