Family Easter Activities – Easter Explorers

This Easter, bring the children to Hatfield Park in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, for a springtime adventure filled with Easter activities, outdoor discovery, and creative family fun.

From Saturday 28th March to Sunday 12th April, our Easter Explorers experience includes a woodland walk trail in the Park plus the option to join our popular biscuit-decorating workshop. It’s an ideal choice if you’re looking for family-friendly Easter activities and a memorable seasonal day out.

Biscuit-Decorating Workshop

Join our Easter Biscuit-Decorating Workshop and enjoy a creative activity with the family. Decorate delicious shortbread biscuits using colourful toppings such as icing, sprinkles, chocolate chips, and edible decorations.

Gluten-free options are available.

Activity duration: 30 minutes.

Easter Woodland Walk

Head into the woods and follow our Easter-themed trail through the Park. Along the way, children can discover interactive Easter eggs, bunnies, and carrots – all created from recycled materials by our talented Park and Gardens Team.

Look out for the hidden letters as you explore. Find all eleven, unscramble them to reveal an Easter word or phrase, and you’ll earn an Easter treat – plus you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a giant chocolate Easter egg.

Do I need to book Easter Explorers activities in advance?

We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Limited walk-in availability may be possible for the workshop, subject to availability.

How long does the Easter Woodland Walk take?

The woodland walk takes around 35 – 40 minutes.

What age is it suitable for?

Easter Explorers is designed for families and children.

What happens if it rains?

This is an outdoor experience, so please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
