Right here at Hatfield Park – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10 minute firework display choreographed to music followed by a larger huge finale display that isn’t part of the competition.
The types of fireworks being used by the companies are quite different to the material available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks – those that are for professional use only and the biggest available in the UK.
The event is the only one of its type in the UK where the audience have the capability to vote for the team they liked the most using their mobile phone. Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.
There will be food and drink (bar and soft drinks) available on site from licensed vendors, however please feel free to bring your own. You may also bring a picnic and table/chairs. No BBQ’s are allowed on site under any circumstances.
On site there will be children’s entertainment (bouncy castles, rides, and similar attractions). Music suited to everyone’s tastes plays at a comfortable level whilst you grab a spot, sit on the grass or setup your tables and chairs. You can either bring a picnic or buy from the vendors on site.
The site can cater for disabled persons but it may not be suitable depending on your circumstances. Rough ground and dark sections may be present, for further advice please contact mail@fireworkdschampions.co.uk and we’d be glad to help. There is a disabled car parking section – please inform the staff as you arrive and they will direct you accordingly. Signs for disabled parking will also be in place.
ALL PARKING WILL BE ON FLAT, GRASS OPEN PARKLAND. Distance from car park to concert entrance varies but is usually between 50 – 350 metres. No overnight parking is permitted.

The car park entrance is off the A414 Westbound only. The postcode for the carpark is AL9 5PG.

The pedestrian entrance to Hatfield Park is opposite Hatfield railway station (AL9 5AE)
