The Screen Space brings you a brand-new outdoor experience with an extraordinary line-up of outdoor activities ranging from fitness and wellness to picnic and drive-in movie entertainment on a giant LED screen. Set to be the activity of the summer, picnic movies and the drive-in cinema have arrived!

With a great schedule of award-winning movies from Incredibles 2, The Lion King to A Star is Born there’s something for everyone, click the link to discover the full range of activities, music and hit movies running across summer afternoons and in-to the starlit night. Bring along your own picnic or discover the mouth-watering take away food, popcorn and refreshments on offer to bring you the ultimate experience, it’s an event not to be missed!

An amazing host of fitness instructors have been lined up to bring you exercise and wellness classes in the great outdoors, at Hatfield House we have the perfect location to attend solo or with a group of friends for socially-distanced sessions. With HIIT classes guaranteed to get your blood pumping, or sunrise yoga for the early risers there really is something for everyone. No childcare, no problem! Family-fun has been jam-packed into the schedule with kids’ classes ranging from street dance to theatre to keep your kids active and entertained.

Live Stand-Up Comedy from the The Comedy Store will bring you hilarious comedians every Saturday night throughout August, the giant LED screen ensures spectacular viewing on a summer’s evening.

To help you enjoy the brand-new experience worry-free, government guidelines will be followed and the necessary steps will be in place from dedicated spaces to queue, contact-less ticketing and social distancing circles to keep you safe.


We want you to enjoy all the fun our brand-new experience has to offer, but don’t want to compromise your safety. You can enjoy our outdoor activities in the beautiful surroundings of Hatfield House, which means plenty of space available for socially distanced activities.

Following the governments guidelines, we’ll put the necessary steps into place from dedicated spaces to queue, contact-less ticketing and social distancing circles. Further details on this can be found on the FAQs HERE

The event will always go ahead in the event of bad weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer. Screenings will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at screening time.



The Screen Space is an open air event site and will be situated on the Queen Elizabeth Oak field, a grass open flat field. While we do hope for good weather it is advisable to wear appropriate footwear for walking on the grass fields.


Created in an uncertain time, the Screen Space is a place where people can safely escape the undefined ways of the current climate for entertainment, education and exercise. For more information and hire please click HERE


Ticket holders are able to enter the Park in their vehicles via Station Lodge (AL9 5AE), located directly opposite Hatfield Railway Station on the A1000 Great North Road, in order to park closer to the event site. Station Lodge is usually a pedestrian-only entrance, but for this event it will be accepting vehicles, for directions please click here.

Drop off and Disabled Parking is available closer to the event site, however, there is still a very short walk over the grass from here.
