Watford & District Classic Vehicle Club (WDCVC) was formed in 1994 by two local enthusiasts Doug May & Peter Batchelor. They exist to support anyone who owns a veteran, vintage or classic vehicle including commercials & Bikes, a vehicle of special interest or simply an interest in the vehicle movement. Watford classics are a Charity driven club and our most recent events raised in excess of £20,000 making our total to date for Local & National causes over £100,000.

The club have kindly agreed to display their wonderful collection of cars within the grounds of Hatfield Park. Visiting the vehicles on display will remain FREE of charge but you will require a ticket to access the grounds. Due to current Covid 19 guidelines we encourage all visitors to book their ticket in advance and we may have social distancing measures in place close at the collection.

WDCVC plan to display the vehicles on the North Front of Hatfield House, adjacent to the entrance of the West Garden. Due to various projects that take place within the grounds of Hatfield Park across the season their exact location may be amended closer to the event date, but will remain obvious and accessible to visitors.

Membership is open to all. You don’t have to live in Watford, you don’t even have to live in the UK, nor even need to own a form of transport! All you need is enthusiasm. We hold regular meetings, have a bi-monthly magazine, and host plus attend lots of events throughout the year. So if you fancy meeting some super people and visiting some great places, please get in touch or apply online via our website www.watfordclassics.co.uk
