- All tickets must be purchased in advance of arrival and either printed or viewable on a smart device. We are operating a cashless system to reduce the need for physical transactions.
- We have limited our tickets each day to control visitor numbers and prevent overcrowding.
- We have installed Perspex screen across our kiosks.
- Cleaning teams will be dedicated to managing our lavatories and other touch points within the grounds.
- Queuing points will be clearly marked out.
- We have provided additional hand sanitisers around our entry and exit points.
- We have temporarily removed our buggy service upon consideration of social distancing guidelines.
Stable Yard
The Coach House Kitchen will be open each weekend in December in the run-up to Christmas. Please check individual shop opening times before travelling.
HHA (Historic Houses Association), Great British Heritage, RHS, National Trust or English Heritage cards are NOT valid for entry. Dogs and picnics are not permitted in the Gardens or on the Farm, with the exception of assistance dogs. Dogs are allowed into the Park. The visitor facilities at Hatfield House can from time to time be disrupted due to maintenance, filming or preparations for major events. Please refer to the events page for details of current scheduled events. Whilst every effort to minimise disruption will be made, we reserve the right to close, re-schedule or withdraw the visitor facilities without notice. The Old Palace viewing bay is often closed for private functions. Flash photography and video recording is not permitted in the House. All commercial photography and recording requires permission.
