Is Hatfield House a National Trust or English Heritage property?

Hatfield House is not part of the National Trust, English Heritage or HHA so standard admission prices apply. Hatfield House is one of the Treasure Houses of England. Find out more about the Treasure Houses of England at www.treasurehouses.co.uk.

Are dogs allowed at Hatfield Park?

Dogs are permitted in the Park only and not allowed in the Old Palace or Gardens. Assistance dogs such as guide dogs, are allowed in the Old Palace and Gardens.

Does Hatfield Park Offer A Discount For Carers?

We offer free admission to carers. Do not include carers when booking online as they will be given complimentary admission on arrival when showing a carers card.

Is Hatfield House accessible to wheelchair and mobility scooter users?

Is photography permitted at Hatfield House?

Photography is permitted for non-commercial and personal use. Tripods, lighting equipment and drones are not permitted. Wedding photography is exclusive to couples getting married at Hatfield House. We reserve the right to ask visitors taking part in wedding, engagement, portrait or commercial photography to leave the premises.

The use of drones are not permitted within Hatfield Park unless you have received written permission.

Is cycling permitted in Hatfield Park?

The use of bikes or scooters is not permitted in the estate. Visitors are welcome to cycle to Hatfield Park and use one of the bike racks to secure their bicycle whilst visiting the estate.

Can I bring my own food?

Picnics are permitted in the Park but we ask that visitors dining in the Park do not litter by using the bins provided. Picnics are not allowed within the formal gardens. The use of BBQs – disposable or otherwise – is not permitted in the estate.

Do you have to pay an entrance fee for the Stable Yard?

No, there is no entrance fee to visit the Stable Yard.

Is camping permitted in Hatfield Park?

Camping is not permitted within the estate.

Is horse riding permitted in Hatfield Park?

Horse riding is not permitted within the estate.

What is the refund policy for advanced tickets?

Tickets purchased from us cannot be refunded or exchanged unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled or we fail to fulfil a service integral to your visit. For full details please click here.

Are Tesco Clubcard Vouchers accepted?

No, they are no longer valid due to changes following COVID19, please contact Tesco directly who able to assist with your vouchers. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
