12 September @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Get suited and booted to discover the secrets of one of the most important and fascinating creatures on the planet.

On our brand new Beekeeping Experience you’ll discover the lifecycle and roles of honeybees, all the different tools and equipment used in beekeeping, and learn about a selection of hive products.

Beelieve it or not…
Collectively, a large, healthy colony of
bees can fly the equivalent of many
times around the earth in a single day.

After lunch, you’ll be donning your protective equipment to meet our busy, buzzy friends up close, learn how to inspect a hive, and be given the chance to handle a frame of bees for yourself. It’s also the perfect point for a photo opportunity, which we can send you as a memento of your day.

Finally, after you’ve honed your hive-handling technique, it’s time to relax with a honey-tasting session, featuring a pre-prepared selection of local honeys to savour.

It’s the perfect experience for anyone that finds bees fascinating or is even thinking of keeping their own bees and would like to know more. Bee quick and book your experience now.
