Something spooky is going on here at Hatfield Park…

Open from 10.30am – 4pm every day during the Half Term, our Wicked Woodland Walk is the perfect place to soak up the beautiful colours of autumn.

But BEWARE, stray too deep and you might just find some gruesome characters lurking in the forest!

Birds and Bugs

Join Rob, the ‘wild man’ of Hatfield Park, where you can discover a variety of creatures – great and small – who call our estate their home.

Get up close with creepy crawlies, and come face-to-face with nighttime hunters as you learn about their importance in the woodland ecosystem.

Discover the secrets of one of the most important and fascinating creatures on the planet.

Join us for a taster of our Beekeeping Experience where you’ll discover the lifecycle and roles of honeybees, all the different tools and equipment used in beekeeping, and learn about a selection of hive products.

Bring your scariest ideas and literally put them on paper, just in time for the spooky weekend.

East and West Gardens

Wednesday 25th October

Lady Salisbury would like to invite you to the final opening the East & West Gardens of Hatfield House this season.

Visitors can enjoy the colours of Autumn throughout the Private East Gardens, the lime walk, the sundial garden as well as the famous Old Palace garden – childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I.

Surrounded by bronze, falling leaves, the adjoining Woodland Garden will be bright and crisp for the last opening of the year.
