Listen to Hatfield Park’s response to Ash Dieback

🌳 Join Us to Save Hatfield Park’s Trees!

🚨 The Challenge:

Ash Dieback (chalara) is wreaking havoc on ash trees across Europe, causing massive damage in the UK. We can’t stand by and watch our beloved Hatfield Park succumb to this fast-spreading disease.

🛡️ Our Approach:

While there’s no cure, some ash trees show resistance. We’re keeping these resilient trees, hoping they’ll provide healthy seeds and saplings for decades. Unfortunately, severely infected trees must be removed, allowing us to replant with a diverse mix of broadleaf trees, boosting species and age diversity in Hatfield Park’s woodland.

🌳 Help us shape a healthier future for our park!
