Come and join Stepping Out for The Big Step Out Festival packed with fun, activities, music, and a set of spectacular walks for carers & the people they care for.
We invite you to come along and help celebrate unpaid carers who provide so much unsung and yet crucial support for friends, neighbours or family members.
Share the excitement at Hatfield Park where the welcome is always warm, and our guided walk around the stunning park and gardens will supply an uplifting dose of scenic and sociable rejuvenation. Stepping Out has had a wonderful relationship with Hatfield Park ever since our first walk there in 2018, and our hugely successful walk and festival in 2023.
This year we are delighted to be partnering with Hertfordshire Health Walks, who, with the support of their Trained Volunteer Leaders will be leading a Demonstration Health Walk of around 1 mile through the beautiful gardens at Hatfield House.
At the event you can also browse the stalls of an array of local organisations who provide wonderful offers of help, entertainment & fun to carers and the people they care for on a year-round basis, whilst enjoying the atmosphere and meeting some special people.
Entry costs: Tickets are available at a cost of £10, which includes discounted entry to the gardens, and access to our Community Walk and Festival for carers. Lunch and refreshments are not included, but there are café facilities – at Coach House Kitchen – in the grounds, or you can take your own refreshments and snacks.
