Estate Day At Hatfield Park

Today, we welcomed local schools to our annual Estate Day, giving students an opportunity to explore Hatfield Park and learn about the inner workings of its day-to-day management. Throughout the day, school visitors were able to meet the people behind the scenes, who work here every day and be re-introduced to rural practices; giving them the opportunity to witness farming, forestry and estate management, first hand. The Estate Day incorporated many themes of core importance in the National Curriculum, particularly Geography, History, ESD, Science & Citizenship.
